Darroch Campbell is a graduate of the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and has been practicing law for over 20 years. The completion of a program in labour and employment law at Oxford University became the foundation of his current legal practice. In 2022, he completed an Executive MBA from Athabasca University, which provides him with a holistic understanding of business and the ability to apply business principles to different industries and sectors. With a background in science, including an MSC in Clinical Medical Research and undergraduate degrees in Biology and Kinesiology, Darroch often evaluates legal issues from an “outside the box” lens.
Having worked as an in-house legal representative for both management and union, Darroch has a unique perspective of workplace issues, concerns, and priorities. He has been relied on to navigate difficult workplace situations with flexibility, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. In his work, he has provided practical and strategic labour and employment advice to a diverse group of clients in a variety of industries, including: healthcare, social services, utilities, shipping, film & TV production, and amateur and professional sports.
Outside of work, Darroch and his wife, also a lawyer, actively introduce their six-year-old daughter to outdoor adventures, urban activities, and cultural experiences.
