Lori Mazzella

Lori is an articling student, having recently earned her LLM at the University of British Columbia. She has been a member of the California Bar since 1996, when she received her JD from the University of California Davis. She has dedicated her career to representing local government and has nearly 25 years of experience as an inside counsel for the County of Solano, California. She has worked with almost every facet of local government, from the Agricultural Commissioner to planning and zoning, with a particular emphasis on regulatory law. Her practice has included advisory and transactional work, including contracts for construction, procurement, and services, as well as local and state legislative work. Her litigation experience includes appearing before trial and appellate courts, and administrative tribunals. She also has represented boards, commissions, and a rural water agency.

Lori absolutely loves British Columbia and can be seen at local farmers’ markets, attending live music events, and simply walking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
