Nicole Coran is an Articling Student at Lidstone & Company. Nicole completed her law degree at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, with a specialization in Law and Social Justice.
While at law school, Nicole served as a Student Clinician and Research Assistant for the International Justice and Human Rights Clinic, where she gained experiences that reinforced her interest in local government law and community advocacy. Nicole has testified before Parliament, contributed research to the All-Party Parliamentary Group to End Modern Slavery, and served as a Research Assistant at the 142nd United Nations Human Rights Committee Session in Geneva. In partnership with the International Labour Organization, Nicole also gained experience reviewing national and international labour legislation.
Nicole is passionate about community involvement. She volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada to create and present legal educational materials for youth justice rights through the Consent Project and served as the Director of Communications for the Allard Law Women’s Caucus.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history from the University of Toronto. Outside the office, Nicole enjoys travelling, hiking, and going to concerts.
