Alex Lidstone

Alex is an associate lawyer at Lidstone & Company. She has developing interests in bylaw review and drafting, environmental law, and aboriginal law. She has a law degree from the University of Sussex. Previously, she worked as the executive director at Climate Caucus, a national network of local government elected officials working on driving action on climate, social justice, and biodiversity in their communities. As such she is networked with over 650 local elected officials, and for her efforts on wildfires, floods, and droughts she was named a “2023 Canadian top 30 sustainability leaders under 30”.

Alex also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science degree in climate change, development, and policy from the Institute of Development Studies. When she is not in the office, Alex enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
