Opportunities With
Our Firm

Lidstone & Company is committed to excellence in providing the legal services to local governments of all sizes and continuing to be a leader in local government law. We are in search of hard working, highly ethical, well rounded, talented individuals who fit our firm’s culture.

Articling Students

Lidstone & Company aims to hire one or two articling students each year, including summer students who may return to the firm. The salary for articling students is commensurate with other law firms in downtown Vancouver and we offer a benefits package including medical and dental benefits. Students will be provided with a transit pass or cash in lieu (or a parking space if necessary).

We will pay the cost of enrolment in the Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) as well as the Law Society of British Columbia’s call and admission fees. You will receive your salary while attending PLTC.

Students will receive two weeks of paid vacation during their articling year, which is the maximum allowed by the Law Society for articling students.

Articling students are hired with the intention that they will return to the firm as associates after completing their articles.

Summer Articled Student

Lidstone & Company aims to hire one Summer Articled Student each year to work at the firm between May and August. The salary for summer students is the same as that paid to students completing their full articles at the firm, but pro-rated for the time the summer student is working.
